@Tones4me That's why she gave up the baby to her sister. At least she recognized that she's not the motherly type and instead of making her kid's life hell, she chose to give it to someone else who can do a better job.
I think if Peggy would've known she was pregnant from the get go, she most likely wouldn't have had that baby. Catholic or not.
Peggy seems to have no maternal feeling in her. The niece says good night and she just closes the door. This baby is crying and the best she can do is to bounce her on her lap. Some people should not be a parent and she is one of them.
Yes, for a little while after her pregnancy denial. There was a lot of speculation about whether the sister was referring to the fate of Peggy's baby, but in the end it is most likely just about the different social/spiritual directions the sisters are taking.
Thanks for the video. Peggy's sister seems more pushy when cut from the greetings scene. I usually hate stories where baby's are born for reasons other than being wanted by all involved, but this one fascinates me.
