Thank you Arthur. I, myself use about 2-3 tablespoon of small chaga chunks and run it in my coffee grinder to expose the carbohydrates even more, powdering it. . Then I use 1 gallon of water boiling and simmering it for the whole day. I love it! I find that since I been drinking this tonic/elixir on a daily basis, I am able to surf in the ocean even after it has rained for over week and still going strong with my immune system.
Very interresting, too bad I can't find any of this fungus where I live. As a suggestion, I would love to hear you talk about caloric substanable plants especially in the winter. I was thinking about cattail root but sometimes they're hard to get when there is 3 inch of ice and freezing water. Keep up the good work! :)
A cheese grater works well too.

Great information! I've been using chaga with ganoderma tsugea (reishi) for a few years now and I just love it.
