Kevin Zeitler highlights Nebraska and Penn State.wmv

There's a lot of talk about NFL draft prospects, but most of it's about skill position guys. I decided I'm going to try and highlight some of the great offensive lineman coming out this year.

First up is Offensive Lineman Kevin Zeitler versus Nebraska and Penn State. Thanks To JMPasq for allowing me to use his film. The clips are from both of his Montee Ball videos.

Sure, but it's boring as hell. He gave up 8 pressures, 2 hits, and 0 sacks all year. His worst game was the Confrence Championship game against Jerel Worthy where he gave up 3 pressures and a hit. The hit should've been a sack, but Wilson slipped under the tackle like a champ. Most of his pressures come off of a quick move to his outside shoulder.

He hasn't given up a sack in his career at Madison, though there has been some luck involved in that. He's a good pass blocker.

Are you talking about the the hit on the RB near the endzone? I seen one play where Zeitler jumped right pass Worthy like it was a part of the call, but Worthy got strait in for the tackle behind the line of scrimmage.

How did he do against him that game? Really wanna know.

I was talking pass protection but to answer your question, in their first matchup, Konz and Zeitler handled Worthy pretty well. In the second matchup, MSU changed up their alignment a little bit so that it was harder to double Worthy. That one was a pretty even fight. It should be mentioned that if Jerel Worthy played his hardest all year he'd be a top 10 pick.

Zeitler's a good pass blocker? That's good to hear. A lot of Offensive Guards struggle with Pass protection.
