Canada Vignettes - The Visitor

The medieval Norse claimed in their sagas to have reached Vinland. Could this extremely significant archaeological find substantiate the Norse claim? Far to the north, on Baffin Island, a tiny carved wooden figure is discovered. The figure is clothed in a long, pleated and hooded robe, and, incised on the chest of this small mysterious artifact is a Christian cross.
