A visit by some Wrexham and Shropshire staff to Marcroft, Stoke on Trent to see the progress of our new trains. Some footage may cause you to laugh, like I did ;)

Thangs have moved on a bit since this. I use the 16.07 between Shrewsbury and Wellington once a month. Last week we had a bright red loco with the word DB down the side and the name SCHENKEN. I see today DB (the German State Railway company) have taken control of ARRIVA. Perhaps they will make things run on time and get rid of the class which runs out to the Welsh coast. I have nothing but praise for Wrexham and Shropshire long may they continue.

from what ive heard it's going to be another few weeks... On top of another few week's etc...
Certainly will be interesting to see what they look like when finnished - just as long as there not so grey as the original plans showed...
But ill certainly be supporting Wrexham & Shropshire By miles...And definaly NOT Virgin Trains !!!
