  • He actually had a cold when he recorded "Di Di Dinah" and they liked the sound, so when he recorded Gingerbread they asked him to hold his nose. That was the last time, though.

  • I love the song "Gingerbread"! Great to hear him sing it live. I've seen Frankie live in concert several times and he never performs that one anymore. Great song though, and one of his earliest hits! That was back when he would hold his nose when he sang.

  • To be honest, I think the song simply plainly rocks behinds. Although I never can reach the highest notes.
