I love this song in that style of chords

Hey, thank you for this. I've been asked for a couple weeks to play this now, but all the versions I've found are the typical G,C,D, etc versions and I love the "contemporary chords" as I call them, which are the ones you use in this video. I also play "Light the Fire" "Here I Am to Worship" and "Trading My Sorrows" in the very similar way. Thanks a bunch...

Very nice! I have always loved this song. I also want to learn the chord progression your using. I have a bit of difficulty with the bsus. Seems like I can't get my fingers to stretch untill I get the two small ones planted. I'm working on it. But it seems that to use the progression your saying, I won't have to lift my two small fingers at all. Maybe that will help. E5, c#m, A2, Bsus, right?
Anyway, good job. Please do more.
God bless

Correct for the verse it is E5 , C#m, A2, then Bsus. And the Chorus is A2, Bsus, C#m, Bsus then back to A2. A tip for the stretch. Pretend the nut it a fret. and when you goto the A2 just put your index finger on the nut and that way you maintain the chord shape for all the chords.
