@TheMudbrooker Sure did... packets of! I use to blow right through those things. You really were teaching yourself. There was no lessons from the teacher. We had "desks" that cubicles attached to the wall. During off school hours, the desk tops attached to the walls so the church used the space for gatherings. If we needed attention from the teacher, we put a miniature American flag in a little hole at the top of the desk; the Christian flag if the aide could handle it.

I hope sooner comes before later. This story was brilliant!
I attended a Baptist school, too...for three years, the whole of junior high. I got a decent education in literature, math, history but not a lick of science. I feel I am still playing catch up.
