This short teaser was produced from early art scans and introduces "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath", a 100-minute animated movie based on the novel by H. P. Lovecraft. The animation is fairly simple in the movie (although better than the teaser), mostly because we knew going in that we weren't making "Final Fantasy," just focusing on having a great time making a fun movie. The DVD is currently available from www.Guerrilla-Productions.org or via Amazon.com

We're also in post production on another feature, this one live-action, called "Flesh of my Flesh," and you can find teasers for that in this same account.

  • Reflecting on this I must say that I was expecting something different... but the overall feeling of suspense and (terror isn't the word... I'll say weirdness) that I got from watching this was similar to the feelings stirred by reading the novel. I'll check out the movie if it's available.

  • @hyperkriegs It absolutely IS available through Hellbender Media. Guerrilla Productions has become Hellbender Media. You can also order it via Amazon, but if you order it from the HB site, you can request an autographed copy, plus it's a little cheaper. 8)

  • Well, funding is always tricky. I'd be game to revisit this project as a life-action project if we had the funding.

  • i cannot figure out why the trailer video isn't showing. Is it showing for anyone else?

  • 1:12 how did you do the thunder sound effect?

  • We used a thunder sound effect that we had as part of a library.

About a quarter of the sounds in the movie are from a sound effects library, but three quarters of the sound effects we made up ourselves. It was fun!

  • @EdwardMartinIII was it fully animated or motion comic?

  • JT dude's work was always unique. That's it's strongest appeal. =)

  • I believe, that this book would make an amazingly good Hollywood film trilogy that strays only little from the source material if given enough attention and funding, but that will likely never happen.

  • nice
