Panorama - Taking on the Taleban - The Soldiers Story.

This is just the ending of the programme. I found it to be quite poignant and emotional.

  • god bless all of the soldiers serving in Iraq and Afgahnistan, and those who did not come home. I am joining up after uni, and hopefully will get into the Grenadier Guards. It is inspiring to see the proffesionalism and the comaraderie between such young guys in the most horryfying of situations. god bless, you make me feel proud to be british!

  • Shut up you idiot , you dont know what the guys go through out there why dont you join up and you might see what really happens behind all the bad things that are said. TWAT !!!

  • that soldiers last words says it all `THEY WILL BE MISSED`

  • rossglen 1987... do you think that if i do not speak (or keep my mouth shut as you say) will change the matter on the ground...NO...the British Troops together with all others are fighting the Wrong Cause...no matter if i do speak or not ...but i will make it clear that the Taleban will win this war , and do you know why rossglen1987???? i will tell you , it is simpley so because the Taleban are fighting for Nobel Cause and because the Taleban are in their LAND

  • Well said Rossglen...I served in the Grenadiers for 12 years and these twats have not got a clue what active service is like...like these lads I was walking the streets of N.Ireland at 2 in the morning with a rifle in my hands waiting to be shot at or see people be shot or blown up...how do you explain that to anyone!!
