Wow now that is interesting. 1985 I think of like Dokken and Ozzy w/ Jake E. Lee and this sounds sort of like the next generation influence of Metalicca OR Megadeth. ahead of it's time even! That makes it even cooler!

That is a crazy cool song. It is a really interesting combo of some vintage sounding guitar doing modern riffs. I love that crazy lead too it shredds!!!! 5*****'s

It could be interesting but the vocals...they just don't fit.... too bad cos I always liked alot the SF scene back then.. BLOODBATH, TYRANNICIDE, VOMIT, DAMNAKLEEZ etc etc so many bands...

Thanks. While we were definitely influenced by Megadeth, Exodus and the 1st 2 Metallica albums, it seems lot of people were writing really heavy music at that time. I've always felt it was more of a reaction to the hair "metal" bands than a fusion of punk (which I didn't listen to back then) and NWOBHM. I played "The Battle" with the guy who wrote it in a (slightly poser) band (Don't Tell Anyone!) in 1982-83 and he let LC record it. Thrash spontaneously combusted in a few places at that time.

Awesome vid! The severed head is worth 5*****s alone!
I used to like listening to you guys rehearing in the garage while I was bar-b-que ing in the driveway. I thought San Juan was crazy off his ass. The rest of you were cool though. I live in Montana now. Hope you are all well.

@twangmang Ha! Those were the days, huh? I actually used to live in Billings. The last time I heard from cousin Toni, that's where she was, also. Coincidence? BTW, you taught me how to play the lick I do @ 2:17! I learned quite a few things from you over the years.
Thanks again, Kevin.
