@Letthisbeavoice I would guess this is more like '83 or '84. This would have been before he met Ms Delaney in Australia which was in '86- and his hair is a little shorter than the late '80s. Yes- I would agree it is a little curious the questions he was asked- like he was a little known singer which obviously was NOT the case by then!! Funny.

I am so sorry it cut off before John finished his song. So much emotion in his voice breaks my heart. John was a wonderful loving caring man living to make this world a better place. May God bless all his memories to stay alive for the world to appreciate his worth. Thanks for sharing. ~Ava~

I guess, that interview must have been in the (late?) 80th...JD was a wellknown artist - even in Germany - but she is introducing him, as if he was nearly unknown to the audience. I think, most of the people knew that he was born as HJ Deutschendorf jun. and, if there is a Junior...surprise, surprise, there must have been a senior too! And yes, since 'Rocky Mountain High' it was well noticed, that JD was 'somehow' connected with Colorado. But maybe, I'.m not objective anymore...

Saudade deste grande cantor e compositor. Faz muita falta para nós um músico tão carismático, bom e competente como John Denver. Estou emocionado ao vê-lo e ouvi-lo. Parece vivo. Pena que se foi tão cedo. Obrigado por postar.
