The first take of a a surprise My Space secret concert by Neil Diamond at famous The Bitter End club on Bleecker Street, NYC, on May 7, 2008. This is the place where Neil got his start. After the club filled up, Paul, the owner, opened the window and put a speaker in it so everybody outside could hear the concert!

Cool. I live across the street and didn't know about it until I talked to people on the line. The whole thing on the sidewalk was very special.

Yeah, I saw it on Myspace that morning after stumbling home from the bar. I was in town for vacation and that was my last night in town. It was the perfect way to end my trip.
