Another version of the beautiful piece by David L. Brunner with just the piano accompaniment. This was one of the final run-throughs in the afternoon prior to the evening concert. I'm still amazed that these talented students had never sung this piece until 3 days prior.

  • In the choir im in we used this as cite reading...I love cite reading now ^__^

  • I was able to sing this song under the direction of Dr. David Brunner in Carnagie Hall with a full orchestra.. the sounds of his music and memories of the performance will never leave my heart.

  • Recently I have had the privilege to sing this piece under the direction of Brunner himself. I think it's a beautifully written song. The piano part is absolutely gorgeous, and each part is written perfectly for this amazing text.

  • 3:07 "A spell of rest,

    and quiet breath"

Most beautifully sang line in the entire piece.

  • @Haleyjoy0 If you're interested in looking her up she's on faculty at Michigan State University.
