UPDATE: Thanks to the ever persistence of right-wing trolls on this site, I've turned off comment voting. While this prevents the trolls from thumbing down comments it also makes it easier for assholes to post their garbage with ease and I won't be able to catch all the comments. Yeah Obama's numbers are down in the midst of his fight for health care but, the GOP has proved time and time again that they couldn't give two shits about the American people which is why their polling numbers remain at an all time low..

Obstructing Health care and the nomination of the first Latina SC Justice is really helping you with new voters..eh..?

Regardless of the high deficits, it was necessary for Obama to implement the stimulus package to provide immediate relief to millions of unemployed until we get out of this economic mess. If he hadn't, things would've been much worse.

I think the GOP are worried too much about deficits. When Obama proposed extra stimulus spending to keep people working, Mitch McConnell criticized it saying it would raise the deficit.

Well, which comes first, helping the unemployed or reducing debt?
