Dtcobra -Not as much as you would think..there is an mr2 in the usa running 10.88 with 450whp on a gt3071r (iirc) and still retains a lot of OEM engine parts! 500bhp, good setup ,good launch could easily see 10's. good Gt35r mr2 setups are capable of 9's !

I've run 38 psi tapering to 31 on a Honda before, 585 whp. The weak link is the stupid ball bearing GT35, which falls apart incessantly. Garrett is good enough to trade trashed GT35 CHRA in for a rebate but all the ball bearing Garretts are junk. Journal > ball bearing.
BTW, it's not pressure it's whether the engine can flow at a given power level and if the engine has the piston-wall, etc, to hold the power. I've made big power off of stock rod cast piston engines built "loose".

you do not want to run 27psi of boost on gt35, unless you love rebuilding and have tons of money.I'd say about 15 runs on any type of honda/toyota/ford/chevy/etc motor with this kinda pressure and you'll be looking to rebuild over again.
