Very interesting this A B C categorization for friends and expectations.
It shows cleary some dysfunctional relationships, like the ones with a narcisstic mother for instance : you would naturally have A expectations as it seems natural that she is an A person.
Truth is that she's NOT. She is much closer to a C person, but as a daughter, you might keep having A expectations from her. And feel confused, angry and sad when she keeps letting you down !
