  • @broinboston And yet, look at what you did.

Also I'm not a critic, I'm just a kid. But thanks I guess.

  • those long visual shots of them walking down the hall way is supposed give a sense of realism like your going through the day in the life of the victim

see all

  • im suprized that this guy didnt comment of how alex shot eric

  • @omnomtaylorrr Realism, in movies and games, is non-existant. Although it may seem classy to have random characters who barely know what they're doing, proper actors should make it seem that they are a random individual. Besides, with the big camera glaring at their faces, they would have been well aware it was a moving, which is why, in the teacher scene, the teacher lacks almost all emotions. If I seen my student get shot, I'd call the cop, tell the students to get the hell under their tables.

  • This movie is supposed to be based on the Columbine Shooting if you've been living under a rock.

  • Jeff Weise who started the Red Lake Massacre loved this movie. According to reports he always skipped to watch the violent parts of the movie.

  • @evank0437 i know but he didn't necessarily hate on the fact that there was long walks.. its just that it was unrealistic, despite its purposes to be realistic.

  • @iLOVEYOURPANTS it wasn't the acting to me. it was the character

  • Just finished watching this movie, and your review is the first that came up. The movie itself was Great. The whole beginning of the movie brings in the normal feel of the high school student life. It's all there in order to get smashed apart by the shooting. Just showing how real this is, and how fast your world can turn upside down. I agree about the acting in parts. (especially the teacher in the classroom)

  • @brandnewhate01 Very True

  • @erutanl89 He is disturbed.

  • The long walking shots are there to help you sink in the scene. It gives the audience time to think and understand the characters by observing them and making our own conclusions, instead of essentially having everything told to us by having the characters overly portray themselves.

Also, the fact that nobody notices Alex & Eric when they're carrying the artillery, is EXACTLY that--NOBODY notices them.

Watch it again. But this time with an open mind that is less focused on the artistic vision.
