Reese I hope that you believe in what you say and this is true. Because if it is not as it seems to you, then you lose the best opportunity to change something. If they ratify ACTA and the rest of the shit, it will be too late for your protests. What you said is not the whole truth, read up on how this law will be enforced. Read about the Megabox on MegaUpload, maybe you will learn something interesting. Please treat this seriously, do not ignore.

@geenius3ab your net will be censored and even more records about what you do online stored that way your isp can put all the blame on you for streaming movies/programs and anything you download so mister toff can get even more money out of you and send you to prison.

acta is not a kitten with a ball, it's just also not as bad as sopa and pipa, if sopa and pippa are horrible monsters, acta is a bad guy
After a brief read I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't look to be all that bad but although it doesn't demand participation of all parties it does give them opportunity to use the act to it's full force; I don't think I trust my government the opportunity to opt in and apply it in it's full first.

@rpatto92 Agreed, we have to be extremely vigilant on this one.

acta says that every country part of it MUST leave the internet holders responsible, meaning all data sent in and out is downloaded, 3 strikes, your out, your fined and extradited by the US government (as you cant proclaim bankruptcy there) and jailed there, the fines are 150,000 US dollars per item, for example, 10 illegally downloaded songs, thats 1.5million dollars, kick ur life out the way. In these jails your then forced to work for 25cent an hour or iscolated... sounds like a soft bill...
