Maybe you are just being provocative &/or trying to pick a You Tube comments fight. By the way, using Buddhism as a philosophy is profound & worthwhile, but only seeing it as a philosophy will never go as deep as the Buddha's way may allow .

The Buddha devoted his long life to help mankind live a life grounded in morality. He never claimed to be a god but did found a philosopy that gave mankind a path to avoid the afflictions that plague us. The next time you hear the Buddha or eastern religions put down remind them that Xtianity, Judaism & Islam are eastern religions. The latter have brought nothing but strife to mankind; Buddhism has not.
