  • Hey, take your meds or learn to read, this video was done in fun; not for instructional reasons and not for you to make negative comments. I dare you to make a video, at least I'm promoting the lab and giving you something interesting to watch.

  • umm yeah..Im a phle..and I would NEVER do a draw with someone standing...I dont care if they dont have a history of passing out...if they did pass out they would be seriously injured..safety first always..but you are brave..I give you that..I dont think I would have done that..but if you want to then that is your perogative..LOL but good job on getting it on the first stick!

  • Thanks. Laboratory science is a tough field, but we need some publicity to get quality staff. You sound like you are professional. I'm glad the video engaged you to make a response.

  • I don't care how good you are at drawing but a good phlebotomist never sticks somebody standing. That freaking moron needs to be written up if not fired.

  • fuck off people...she's good!

  • @mcpartland2751 Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?

  • she did one thing wrong she touch the vein after cleanin it

  • how about the retard thats taping and the bigger retard phlebotomist didnt even realize she did not clean the puncture site properly at all twice in concentric motion people its not hard

  • SOrry for bothering you. But if you are a medical laboratory Technician or technologist, do you have to draw blood from pat patients...isn't that the work of nurse or phlemtologist?

Before entering this field I want to clear all my confusions. Please reply me and I will really appreciate. One more thing I got allergy looking at stools..it sounds funny ..but do medical laboratory technologist have to work with stool samples too?

    I will appreciate your reply.

  • I agree with you completely! everyone thinks that its soo easy..but seriously it not. I mean you rely on touch only to guestimate the depth and position of a vein. not many people can do that. I try to be as professional as I can be. I dont take my job lightly. As a phle we are heavily relied on to be proficient in what we do. So good luck and keep learning because things always change.
