Never been to a real opera, but the one I have always thought I would like to see was Carmen because I love the music. I am put off a bit when I think the casting looks inappropriate and acting seems too ham and over the top. After searching youtube for all the different Carmen performances I could find, I settled on this one, a believable Carmen, lovely singing, beautiful, elegant dancing, a super cool version of the opera. I've ordered the dvd from Amazon, can't wait for it to arrive!
