We are Norwegians and live in Oslo.
In this particular case the DJ chose the song for us, but we've heard the original version a lot of times.
The World Rock'n'Roll Confederation (WRRC) who's in charge of boogie woogie dance competitions, is maintaining a list of approved competition songs. Black and White Thunderbird with the Delicates has been on this list since the list originated more than a decade ago. Your original version is thus well known by boogie woogie dancers all over Europe. :)
hi inge i love to learn this boogie woogie foot work. can u create this foot work instruction on you tube please?

@trishie99 Thanks for your suggestion, Trishie. We'll consider making an instructional video, but I can't promise anything right off the bat. :)
Briefly, the basic footwork uses 6 counts: 1-2: single step, single step, 3-4: triple step, 5-6: triple step (Triple step: 3 steps on 2 beats). Common variations include:
a) exchanging 1-2 with a kick ball change,
b) using 8 counts (like lindy hop): 1-2: single step, single step, 3-4: triple step, 5-6: single step, single step, 7-8: triple step.
