Oh God did Danny even watch LOST?! So funny, he seemed nervous.

Ben definitely stayed outside of the church and didn't move on because he wanted to spend time and be a family with Alex and Danielle, give them what he took from them. Helen wasn't in the church because I think like Christian said, the limbo was what they all created. In life, Helen didn't want to be with John did she, so she'd not be present :).

Everyone who entered were those who had let go already and were ready to move on. That is all, it was a choice, they couldve stayed if they wanted to. They were all dead, and the alternate reality is timeless, it doesnt matter when they die they all ended up at same place, id call it "afterlife".
