Tiger Woods Injured in Car Crash

Wood's wife, Elin, said that she was inside the house when she heard the accident, and ran outside and used a golf club to break the rear window of the vehicle and pulled Tiger out of the SUV. Two police officers arrived on the scene, and Tiger was laying on the ground in front of the vehicle, with minor cuts and scrapes around his lips, and his wife nearby. Police have not spoken to Woods yet, but plan to, according to sources.

We can all now confirm that Tiger has been released from the hospital with no major injuries. The "serious injuries" comment from highway patrol turned out to be false, as Tiger was not in serious condition at any time nor does he have any injuries - just a few cuts and scrapes on his face.

The Florida Highway Patrol was asked why they initially stated that Woods was in "serious condition" when he really wasn't, and they responded with "We use that term when someone's injuries need to be treated at a hospital, rather than at the scene."
