The Disaster Recovery Leadership Network recently held it's annual drill to test procedures that will ensure the delivery of human services in the aftermath of a disaster in Pinellas County. Human services agencies are prepared to call in to 2-1-1 to update their status following a hurricane or other such disaster. Staff at the operations center can then shift resources accordingly to ensure that the residents of Pinellas County can get the child care, counseling and other services they need. The Disaster Recovery Leadership Network is a network of the Health and Human Services Coordinating Council of Pinellas County.
