  • I didn't realize Arizona had a short growing season how soon can you start planting out in the garden?

  • @Planting81 Many start around the 14th, but old timers will start a little sooner. If it's a warmer winter like we just had we can start around valentines day or a few days ealier, but the news just reported were getting a cold spell for the next few days so I guess I'm glad I'm waiting until the 14th.

  • that yellow pear if you never grew dont be shocked it if gets 12-15ft tall and give you pounds of tomatoes

  • @MajorRager76 oh man that sounds like I better plant it some place special in the yard! This is the first time I'll be growing it so I hope I can get it that large...we eat them in everything it seems

  • @catfish222banjo that sounds great! well hey thanks a lot :)

  • @ArizonaAdventures i dont have any specific recommendations, but i was in their store a little bit back and they have about 10 millions varieties of corn, beans, squashes, peppers, devils claw, sun flowers, melons, anything used by native Americans of the area and their tomatillos are delicious!

  • @ArizonaAdventures thats awesome, thanks 4 the info

  • @commando602 hahaha I'll have to add some motion sensor lights out there :) Hey you should post up some of her eggplant recipes man, can always use new ideas for eating these eggplants!

  • @SteveHarpster hey thanks! Yeah we make our own hummingbird feeder nectar with about 1 cup sugar with around 3 parts water. Boil the water then let it cool down a second, stir in the sugar and let cool all the way before filling the feeder. That red dye is horrible stuff, red 40, said to give the birds cancer over time.Beside, you don't need color as the hummingbirds will find it, trust me :) Thanks again!

  • @catfish222banjo I have heard a lot about them...thanks for reminding me! I think it would be awesome to have a garden full of heirloom varieties!! Do you order from them of grow anything that you would suggest to me?

  • @Helioforge :) thanks!
