  • Spade Cooley is really great. I like his work. Too bad some people desire to make negative comments re: a terrible tragedy from another time about which they know nothing.

Some people excuse the worst in their compatriots but will mercilessly jump on anyone else.

Spade Cooley was a great musician there's no doubt about it.

  • you aunt is great!!

  • Things are now looking up.

  • @MichailZacho yeah he is but just because he's a great musician doesn't mean he's a great guy..he did kill his wife infront of his kid. That's sick.

Just because a person is famous doesnt mean they should get excuses for them...

  • Nice soundie! Anyone know who the lead guitar guy is? He plays some nice harmony and fills with Joquin Murphy at about 1:10.

    Swang on,

  • "Soundies" were videos or film clips where different bands or musical groups played popular tunes of the day. These machines could be found in bars or taverns like jukeboxes and offered selections for a quarter. Tex Williams who could be seen at the right of the girl vocalist also had his own band. He made soundies as well as some musical western shorts for Universal.

  • Your aunt is a living doll! Great pipes, too
