English version:
This video presents how the DHR (Helicoidal Rotative Dome) works, under patent number PI0701183-0.
Starting with this example of a submarine model. DHR can be used either with torpedos, planes, missiles, rockets, or any body that has this ellipsoid-front-shaped.
Considering that this body has a velocity V, its encounter with the water mass causes a resistance to the movement: they are the forces of resistance. For each point touched on the surface, forces are subdivided in two: the tangencial force (Ft) and the normal force (Fn).
Now, imagine if these normal forces could be eliminated. That's the purpose of the DHR.
Of course, it's an exaggeration to say "eliminate", but if these forces could be reduced by 5%, it would be big step.
The suggestion here is to replace the ellipsoid-front-shaped of these bodies by a "docking front", with the difference that this new front will have helicoidal indentation and will be rotative.
The rotation will be possible due to the installation of 2 bearings in its interior, located at the tip and the base of the DHR.
It's important to say that DHR's rotation is not generated by any kind of engine. The great point of the DHR is its passive rotation. Its rotation become faster as the body speed increases.
Reducing the forces of resistance applied to the body, the DHR could reduce the fuel consumption, give more speed and minimize the total travel time, thus the $/ton transported will be smaller.
