De-Valued Black Woman

My thoughts on an Afrrican-American speed dating event that drew 40 women and only 4 men. However, an Interracial speed dating event had Brothas lined up around the block to get in.

The real reason that BM devalue BW is because American society does. BM clearly see what society does to them and claim that it is unfair, yet as society attacks BM they join in as if it is all the Gospel truth. Women know it this is from self hatred. As BM aren't value, neither is the BM. They want so badly to assimilate into White culture instead of creating and sustaining something for themselves. They blame BW and WM for their choices and value WW, HW, and AW because they are not BW.

@blaquelovely1 BM are valued. We may be valued for some of wrong reasons but we are valued. Whites didn't create the baby mama crisis in the Black community and whether you want to believe it or not, that is one of the key reasons why BM and everyone else kind of discounts BW.

@ChrisEveryDay If you want to believe that BM are valued in this country, by all means do you. Whites didn't create baby mamas. BM and BW have, but who bears all the blame. That's just the facts. The BM who down BW with children would marry and adopt the WW's children (i.e. Seal). WW can be whores and BM adore her (i.e. Kim Kardashian). I don't have children, and don't plan on having any. As I stand by my previous comment and you can't negate it.

@blaquelovely1 Most of comments are on the mark and I am not trying to negate them.  However, you can't ignore the fact that BM are valued and desired by women, especially BW. A BM with children by multiple women can still go out and get a good woman to marry him with no problem if that is what he wants. A BW with just ONE baby daddy doesn't have it that easy.

@ChrisEveryDay I don't do double standards like the rest of the world. In the same comment you criticized women and glorified men for the same behavior. That's not going to work with me. Just as women who are baby mamas aren't marriage material, men who are baby daddies aren't marriage material. Don't get mad when your hypocrisy bites you in the ass.

@ChrisEveryDay If BM can't handle what they dish out, that is certainly their problem and not mine. I don't have children; therefore, I can use their logic and dismiss all men who have children as potential dating/marriage partners if I were interested in such things. I am very clear that women need to STOP having sex with men they are not married to . BW do not have to be the perpetual victim of society and BM.
