In the easter holidays Holly, Jim and Andy set out on a 3000 mile journey around Europe. We had originally intended to drive the entire journey in a Nissan 300ZX with a little tent in the boot. After stopping in Bruges, Amsterdam and Munster, germany. The car broke down after 4 days, leaving us stranded in Rinteln, Germany.
However we did not despair, but instead made our way to Hannover, and scraped together the cash to buy a European Interrail Pass. We visited Vienna, Venice, Bologna and Paris by train!
It was a nice holiday, got to see 8 countries for just over £400, strongly recommend it. Here is a short video of the best bits. But there is a detailed description with photos on my blog at http://www.noncres.blogspot.com
@LauraEnglandx Each! Make sure your car has a good mileage! And camping only costs 20 Euros a night on average, so works out as very cheap! (Although because the car broke down it ended up costing a lot more in the last week to get hotels and trains as we left all our camping gear in the car.)

Wow, it looks so much fun, I read the blog posts too, they're great. I'm from the UK and want to do something similar but i'm concerned about the price, how did you manage to do it for just £400? was that each or between all three of you?
