Vodafone Prepaid E585 PocketWifi Modem problems

There are connection issues for some Australian Vodafone Prepaid Broadband E585 (Pocket Wifi) users. This screen capture shows my modem connecting and reconnecting every few seconds even though I'm not even surfing the web.

On the display of the E585 it shows constant 'connecting' and 'connected' inbetween Voda AU. All this despite having excellent reception. An ongoing post about the issue is on the Whirlpool Forums.

Wow thanks for this vid ! I was thinking of getting this to change my IP address because I'm with Optus and now I know that Vodafone internet is crap !
