@IAmHurricaneStorm Maybe, but what if it had suddenly shifted and changed directions. As the uploader stated, that was way too close for comfort. All it can take is a split second for a tornado to shift directions and you could be right in the path, and may not realize it until it's too late. That's the exact reason spotters/chasers don't get *too* close to a tornado. Your life may be in extreme danger before you can realize or do anything about it.

@satanxhhhx Good comment. I can see how such a sight could be almost mesmerizing, but I'm glad the spotter here kind of woke up in time and got inside even if the tornado did actually miss him. Even if it did there's always flying debris that could kill as well.

Will do! I shot this from University Village apartments off of 10th avenue. Just south of the Rosedale apartments that were completely destroyed.
