@ualuuanie my dad did not have any health issues whatsoever (other then high BP) untill he quit smoking. he ended up having a minor heart attack, 2 strokes, his blood pressure sky rocketed (higher then normal) and he's hinted to me that the doc told him he ain't gonna live too much longer (he's 47 now). all after he quit in the 6 years since. meanwhile i still smoke and other then high BP (family trait), i'm fine after 22 years of smoking.

my heart is dieing thanks to a family history of bad hearts. so even if i jogged everyday, ate healthy, i'd still died from some type of heart issue. already have the beginings of clogged arteies (i rarely eat unhealthy). i smoke will do so until i die.my grandfather had his first (out of 9) major heart attacks at 45. he ate greasy foods and whatnot for years afterward, before dieing of cancer at 75. he was a light smoker until he quit at 41. we all die. just when and how are the questions.

Funny thing is there were 2 blokes in my work. 1 a smoker and the other not. The non smoker died of cance the smoker is still living at 50 and still as healthy as a horse.
