Works really well, im still using it to this day, no edge dulling when cutting though as the fungus is still wet, the honing properties really come into effect when it's been dried out.
Not my idea im afraid, i just saw this as a good woodland project, this particular fungus has been used for a knife/razor strop for centuries, hence it's other name, Razor Strop Fungus.
Nice one mate.
What was used to secure the Fungus to the wood?

Did it work well? Did you notice any dulling of the edge when making it?
