  • some of the cheapest items are always the best. to this day i am using shea butter, olive oil and cocnut oil. just cuz it has some fancy name doesnt mean its all that

  • U look great!! Try doo grow shampoo. Also check out Blackonyx website, she also sells products. I haven't tried them yet, but can't wait to. Embrace your hair it is trial and error.

  • @kbartlett01 i'm actually using her products now and they are great!

  • I have the same hair texture as yours, so I`ll tell what works for me. I found out that going natural meant I felt more comfortable switching to natural hair ingredients and this is the list:

Shea butter blended with a tablespoon of water in a powerful blender, olive oil, coconut oil, essential oils, the coconut milk and plain yogurt mixture as a conditioner and so on. Avoid shampoos containing sodium laureth salfate and parebens. For more kitchen or natural recipes google Motown girl.

  • @Ohimaqueen doing all of that now. i;m learning as i go. Right now i'm using blackonyx77's hair care line called alikay naturals

  • LuvinNappy, you could be a model. It's funny how the prettiest girls always think they're ugly, lol.

  • @AirForceGirl05 true but on the real ive always been teased because i looked haitian(which i am..duh) or i had short hair, so like everyone i have my insecurities. i guess i just dont see what everyone else does

  • lol sis ur gorgeous, enhance your beauty make it a complete look, it is your own individual style, invest in some great natural makeup, if you want to and matching nail polish brighten up your look put a flower on the side, be bold, confident, and exactly who you were meant to be and the rest will follow! can I get a amen!

  • i kno this is vid is a bit old and dont kno if uve found anything yet but

i agree w/ jabrilla about cantu shea. i started w/ curl keeper by africas best bc i was really dry in the begin stages too

also dont comb/pick when out of shower or dry...use fingers as much as possible and allow to air dry -i only comb wet hair w/ gel to avoid frizz. also dont be afraid to rewet/cond in shower daily as needed

    hope this helps :)

  • I'm just as lost and wish I could help, BUT I do like your video and your honesty!! Some people wouldn't post this! I don't know WHAT products to use AND some are just too dang expensive!!! Right now, I'm stuck on thinking Olive Oil products are the best...yeah, I need to get outside of my box!!!

  • I THINK I FEEL THE SAME WAY YOU DO I HAVE 3 KIDS ANDC CAN BARELY AFFORD THE PRODUCTS. I WANT TO EMBRACE MY HAIR BUT I HAVE NO HELP. I HAVE SHORT LITTLE VIDEO OF WHAT I USE AND I DID THAT FROM A CELLPHONE THAT IS HOW DESEPARTE AND NEED HELP PLEASE HELP I WANT TO CRY.

  • Our hair is the most fragile of the other hair types, so i'd advise u 2 use a sulphate free shampoo and to deep condition regularly (once a week is a good start). I use Aubrey organics honeysuckle rose or island naturals. A good leave-in is also gr8 4 xtra moisture. I use oyin's honey hemp

  • Your GORGEOUS girl, so keep smiling : ). U r DEFINITELY a 4c! I have the same hair type : ) moisturising and sealing are our best friends!! I'v learnt that along the way. I use oyin juice and berries, and seal with either coconut, olive, castor, or sapote oil (the last 2 r my faves). I also use Shea butter and mix it with either of those oils.

  • Natural beauty, not natural disaster. Not many women are this pretty with this little hair. So, feel good!

  • You're so pretty.

  • I use vegetable glycerin.
