  • I was awe-struck by these words of Chesterton in the 1960s. Thank you Michael for your beautiful interpretation of them for us today!

  • @lkrieg45 Thank-you for your kind comment. Re Chesterton, truth told well transcends the generations.

  • Thank-you G7

  • Chesterton wrote the Hymn for England but it applies to America as well these days. God be Praised & may he bless you my friend.

  • He had a way of saying remarkable things in a memorable way. Thank-you my friend.

  • Thanks my friend for posting this...always liked this song. Good job.

  • @chiron92 Yes, I've heard it recently and back in the day :) they always did a good job with an apocalyptic subject matter... more going on between that band's ears than drugs, sex and rock n roll, eh?

  • I know I have already commented on this video but I have been watching it a lot lately and I love it I Love this hymn and I love the way you have done it up until now I have only heard it done in a monastic tone. Thank You soo much & God Bless You!!!

  • @God7is7my7Judge

Monastic is good too. But the message is so relevant that I think each generation should reinvent the music. btw the tune Chesterton used was actually a popular melody at that time called Aurelia written by Samuel Wesley. So he actually tailored the song to his era's contemporary tastes.
