@chiron92 Yes, I've heard it recently and back in the day :) they always did a good job with an apocalyptic subject matter... more going on between that band's ears than drugs, sex and rock n roll, eh?

I know I have already commented on this video but I have been watching it a lot lately and I love it I Love this hymn and I love the way you have done it up until now I have only heard it done in a monastic tone. Thank You soo much & God Bless You!!!

Monastic is good too. But the message is so relevant that I think each generation should reinvent the music. btw the tune Chesterton used was actually a popular melody at that time called Aurelia written by Samuel Wesley. So he actually tailored the song to his era's contemporary tastes.
I was awe-struck by these words of Chesterton in the 1960s. Thank you Michael for your beautiful interpretation of them for us today!

Chesterton wrote the Hymn for England but it applies to America as well these days. God be Praised & may he bless you my friend.
