If you want to accept Christ, that means the Holy Spirit is calling you, so you haven't committed this sin, to truly commit it, you would have to be truly wicked at heart, it's not a single event that somebody feels bad for, but a settled condition of the soul.

i think i may have attributed the work of the holy spirit to the devil in my head. is that the unpardonable sin?

The Gospels, state that Christ died for our sins. Then, Christ himself, throws a wrench

in the works, by saying there is this

particular sin, that won't be forgiven.

The problem is that no one seems to have a

clear answer as to what kind of sin is the

unpardonable sin, and why is it that it only

affects the Holy Ghost, and not the Father

or Christ.

They're basically saying if the Holy Spirit comes in and convicts u of sin and u reject it, thats blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Since u already know you've done wrong u are convicted and know it. So yeah u can be saved thru JESUS CHRIST

All sin can be forgiven except the sin against the Holy Spirit.I will explain as follows. If a person does not believe in Jesus (or accept that they have sinned)and what He achieved for sinners on the cross, then this person is refusing to avail of the only payment that God has ordained for the sin of mankind. It is similar to the key to the door of a security box. If you refuse to accept the right key for this box then you will not be able to open the box.Jesus is the key to salvation.

The unforgiven sin is to be ANTI-CHRIST! Since Jesus Christ is the only Savior, rejecting Him will result in the person being rejected and tossed into the trash fire. How can one receive the Comforter if they HATE Jesus Christ and Christians? Salvation is for those who are converted to love God and His church, aka His Kingdom. In order to live forever with Christians and God, we must learn how to really love them. The greatest commandments are to LOVE God and His real Church.
