@fineguh Kenya; Nigeria (whateva), my point was that he has African blood, more so than I. Yes, Africans do range from different skin complexions, I know this....and I didn't comment that that slaves were mixed. If I were to see a photo of my direct enslaved ancestry, then of course they would look different than me. Just because im lighter and look different than them doesn't mean Africa isn't in me. It would be completely disrespectful to my ancestors who were chained and brought here

So lighter-toned African Americans aren't African? basically.
I'm technically brown and my sister is light meaning "yellow", so I'm African and she's not. Not to mention we have the EXACT same mother and father, she's just "light-skin" like my mother, but you're basically saying only darker-toned black people can be considered "African". Obama does NOT look mixed (Though he is) he looks like a lighter-toned Black man nothing about him looks "bi-racial" if didn't say it no one would've guessed.
