  • Unfortunately what you say is incorrect. An absorbance of 0.43 does NOT mean that it absorbs 43% of the light. An absorbance of 0.43 means that it absorbs (1- 10^-0.43)*100%, or 63% of the light. Your relationship between absorbance and concentration is correct but your explanation of what absorbance is not. This is not doing others a service!

  • @jbarah05 I understood it perfectly fine. I don't know about you but slow talking makes me either (a) bored or (b) dazed out.

    However, I understand your frustration. Things that are not intuitive require a step-by-step process treatment / short lecture/clarification.
