For once Claire Bear is right. Decorating the outside doesn't give social skills that are not there. Had many people telling me all all I had to do to be liked was dress better. But I could remember back to when my mother held me down and dressed me very well. I still was very disliked. It turned out I have Asperger's syndrome. I can't read or respond to facial expressions & come across as unintentionally rude. Dressing better only would make me feel not like myself and still no fitting in.
