@greyhoundowner My little lurchers occasionally love being in a cage, we use it when taking them camping so they can get a break from everything. I don't use it at home but I would if necessary, so long as it's not for long, it's like a den, a safe retreat for them. They have never cried to be let out, but they will cry just like Foxy to get in the living room and snuggle with the humans!
@greyhoundowner cuz we americans actually have other things to take care of in our lives. We don't have 24 hrs to provide constant care for the pets which of course does not necessarily mean we do not love our pets.
If you want to coddle your pet like it's your own baby, be my guest, but don't criticize others because they are different from you.
I have an 8 week old Pembroke Corgi coming soon. It's a small dog. I'm thinking about doing what you did crate right by the entrance to the play pen. The problem is going to find the space for that being that i live in a small apartment.
Do you leave Food & Water inside the pen or the crate? I work only 3 days a week from 10am-6pm so i need to figure out what exactly to do. The pup won't be arriving till the end of this month.
Because Italian Greyhounds can break their legs easily if left alone to wander the house and jump off things. They are only crated hopefully for a few hours at a time, not kept in the crate all day.
Why do Americans have to imprison dog's in these rediculuous moronic cages. Not content with chaining them they now have to think of otherways to curtail their dogs enjoyment of living.
Oh my gosh I'm playing this video for my two italian greyhounds, foxy and gigi and they can not get enough of my computer right now haha. This is officially their favorite youtube video ;)
