This clip is from an amazing picture, The Monster and The Stripper (1968). Ron Ormond gets credit for directing, but his wife June (who passed away in '06) was reportedly his partner in all things artistic, and actually shows up in the film as the stripper-"wrangler." The sequence shown here is the encounter of the two titular characters, a bodacious fire-eatin' exotic dance-chick and the "Swamp Thing" (yes, he's actually called that — years before Wein and Wrightson unleashed their version), played by none other than rockabilly legend Sleepy LaBeef (still going strong at 71!).
Are Ron and/or Jane Ormond related to the famous actress Julia Ormond?
