Mazda RX-8 R3 Track Test- Johnny Herbert UK 2008

Johnny Herbert was one of the 3 co-drivers who famously won Le-Mans 24 Hour in their Mazda (Rotary Powered) 787B.
To date NO other Japanese make has ever won Le-Mans outright, except the Rotary Mazda 787B.
This video shows Johnny track testing Mazda's new RX-8 R3 (known as the GT in Australia) for over 5 minutes.

I own a 2010 RX8GT and I've taken it to a track. There's a couple of times here where Johnny bounces off the revs and effectively loses power, his lines are good though and I love my RX8 GT, shame it's no longer made
