hey donald i live in growing zone 6 and 7 alot of the growing zone maps i look at say ether 6 or 7 thats y i say that but its may and the temps not wat id hoped for i put my tomatos in the ground cause for a good 2 weeks it was in the 80s and even 90s but now its much lower close to 40s ...and i wanted to know should i cover them i dont think well have frost i pretty sure last frost has past but idk also if u dont mind me asking to u farm for a living

@2010bowhunter ...As long as you don't get a frost I think you'll be OK. I did farm soybeans and corn for awhile but got out of it. Now I'm just retired and loving it......Donald

I also have one of those stupid weeder/cultivator things that I bought two years ago and it doesn't work very well for either purpose, especially for heavy clay soil, despite the very small size of my garden. BUT I love what you've decided to use yours for and I think I will be doing the same thing this year! Thanks for the tip! And I'm alays envious of how much land you have. I wish I had that much to work with! Alas, just a small patch in the backyard's all I got save for some containers.

Donald, Would a tractor mounted cultipacker have worked for bedding the onions and mustard seed? I love your videos!

@Longsnowsm ... I'm sure it would. You can also make a furrow on top of the row using a middle buster. That works real well and saves on the water bill........Donald
