Hey pal, just be careful not to look at the spark for too long.
When I was trying to make something similar I was adviced to be careful because plasma emits ultraviolet rays and that could hurt your eyes or make you be with cataracts!
You could buy a safety UV glasses in a safety equipament store (I don't really trust them, because we don't know if they work for the frequency of the UV rays you are working with). Just be carefull ok :)

@rsbpg Not to worry! Dangerous amounts of UV light are only emitted by spark gaps in spark gap Tesla coils, not from the secondary-side high voltage discharges you see here. As vacuum tube Tesla coils (VTTCs) don't use spark gaps, there is no danger of exposure to UV radiation.

what cap size did you use, i dident get any output at 2 nF, as you said on instruktablse.

@lbochtler Actually, in this coil, I used two 510pF, 30kV doorknob capacitors in parallel for around 1nF at 30kV. try decreasing the capacitance if your coil doesn't oscillate. If the problem persists, then try reversing the connections to the feedback coil.
Good Luck!
