@Theaterg15 I agree. Losing a parent is sad especially for Lenni. If your mother or father are widows and they start dating again, the child may feel neglected and upset just like Lenni. In my perspective, for example, if Lenni's father dated Sally and he marries her, she is afraid "Sally" will take over her mother's place in the family. Same as for the mother replacing their father with another man.

For the people living in New York, there is a French Garment Cleaners Co. in New York. Miller's Hauling Co. is only fictional in this four part episode.

In this Ghostwriter episode, as mentioned in the beginning of part one of "Over a Barrel" Lenni mentioned that "the garden" used to be a dump.
@3:55 (this clip) I cannot believe the barrels of perc has been buried there for five years (June 7, 1988). Five years later, since this show was in 1993, the Ghostwriter team have solved the puzzle. If it were not for the Ghostwriter team and Ghostwriter, they would not have solve this case .
