  • @GoingGoingGalt Yes.in other words..we must get rid of the notion of ownership ."Tragedy of the commons" which you referred to in an earlier comment does not apply if there is no gain to be made from overuse of land/resources and your inability to understand the difference here leads me to conclude that you have not got any idea about what a Resource based economy proposes...i would suggest you understand that which you are opposing before writing bullshit and thumbing your own comment up :-)

  • @GoingGoingGalt By this comment you have completly misunderstood the concept of an RBE...its not just a freeforall. Please read up before posting strawman arguments

  • Despite i dont agree with Stefan Molyneux and the free market he is very awere of the problems we face today, If all people have a bit of his way of thinking the world wil be a better place and RBE a reality.

  • @bind1967 If you dont understand that what i mean by an "applied methodology" then you have demonstrated your lack of understanding to what a RBE actually proposes.I myself have criticism about many members of TZM in that i feel alot of members dont actually understand the proposition properly(you seem to have been one of them). This ,however, is completely different to finding a flaw in the proposed system since you cannot judge a proposition soley by those who claim support of said idea.

  • @bind1967"" Its one of the reasons I quit, because it goes against nature in my opinion.""

Yea? Ever seen another species sit at a computer discussing economic systems? No of course not so it should be clear to you that certain species on this planet have developed traits different to other(us being one of them). The whole "its against nature" thing is ridiculous. The idea of a RBE is about the utilisation of am applied methodology rather than any fixed ideology.

  • @bind1967 ""Please explain to me how you propose to get control of the worlds resources in order to throw them in a pile to share.""

Do you honestly think a resource based economy proposes something this simplistic?

""You should know that I was in tzm. I know the people.""

Cant you see how unbelieveably ignorant that makes you appear? How can you possibly make a claim to knowledge as obviously unknowable as that? And besides , you should scrutinise the proposition,, not the people who support it

  • @deanjdk Fair enough. Please explain to me how you propose to get control of the worlds resources in order to throw them in a pile to share. You should know that I was in tzm. I know the people. Most are poor people with entitlement disorders who feel everything they need to survive should be provided for them instead of working for them. Its one of the reasons I quit, because it goes against nature in my opinion. There is no species on earth that does not have to work to survive.

  • "I also like my rights."

Yea? so do i but i also realise that this economic system we live under denys the majority of the world the same rights as you and i have in order to maintain our economic upkeep.

  • "If you cant get what you need to survive by working, you deserve to die"

Iv just come back from India where i saw the consequences of our cost externalization practices. There are people there that have absolutely no way out and work their ass off 18 hours daily just to barely survive.with many of them dying every day of starvation and other poverty related conditions.Take a look at your original comment, cant you see how unbelievably uninformed and ignorant your statements make you appear?

  • Respond to this video... "I prefer working to survive and earning what I have."

Good, but realise that the things you and i have ,including the economic prosperity our countries enjoy(temporarily)is due to the cost we externalize to poorer nations(poorer because of our resource extraction/cost externalizing) in order to maintain the cyclical consumption required to upkeep our "economy". Please, if you respond to this comment , before you do make sure to understand "cost externalization".

  • Respond to this video... "Sorry the real world will never work that way."

You can be sure that people throughout the ages(just like you) have made this statement about whatever the economic system happened to be at the time be it Manorialism,Feudalism or anything else.I dont know if we will ever make it to a RBE but i wouldnt be as foolish to make such a claim of certainty. When you make claims you cannot back up you loose rational credibility as far as i am concerned

  • @bind1967 Nobody is forcing or even asking you to give up any of your stuff. If you think you would be asked to do that in an RBE your have demonstrated you dont understand the proposition.Your making a claim that people who advocate a RBE are lazy? I have no problem discussing this concept but when your first message resorts to blanket statements you could not possibly demonstrate to be true, then your argument is done as far as i am concerned.
