Please contact me at SweetHD@aol.com if you are interested in adopting this sweet girl: Mandy was saved in the nick of time by a rescue girlfriend of mine who committed, so I went and got her out, before death warmed over. i was APALLED to see that the animal hospital who spayed her did not lift a finger to try and get even a FEW of the hundreds of ticks, mites, and huge bloodsucking fleas who were literally jumping off her white fur when they brought her out from spay surgery!!! I demanded they get me a flea comb, thought they argued and said they had none, but I told them they HAD BETTER FIND SOMETHING, whether it be a comb or brush of some kind because this was PURE cruelty!!!! The vet tech went in to try and find a brush or comb, but came out with a can of flea spray which he sprayed all over her frail body from surgery!!! I told him he HAD BETTER FIND THAT COMB bc fleas and mites were stuck in her flesh, sucking on her blood, and she was weakened from her spay surgery and from the stress of the shelter, almost in the lineup of deathrow. I have her in my care right now and I gave her a sponge bath and combed her with my professional combs and she is resting peacefully right now after a zillion bloodsucking vampires were combed from her sweet white body!
