beautiful song, the koto intro melody is especially beautiful and heart-moving, nostalgic and natsukashii.. but this is performance does not nearly do it justice. 尺八 your sound is supposed to emulate the wind, not your body, oscillating like the wind is blowing you... lol

It has nothing to do with race, but they lack talent in this piece. I feel bad for those who had to sit through this performance.

I love hearing the koto but this particular piece is jusy s.h.i.t. and made worse by being recording with the treble settings set way too high. This sounds to me like a caucasian rendition of of a neo stylistic cover of a classic and it simply doesn't work. I have Falconers cd's and she is normally exceptional, if a little too 'commercial', and this isn't either.
